In this course I will try to teach you how to create WordPress plugins that are going to sell well on online marketplaces like CodeCanyon. Also, I will teach you to see plugins as assets, that are created by you, thus acquired (almost) for free. And, as we know, assets will produce money over time.
By taking this Course you're going to be able to make your own WordPress plugins and get them ready for publishing on the your own or other large online marketplaces to start earning with them. After taking the course you're going to be in a prime position to take advantage of the rapidly accelerating growth of WordPress and get your plugin out into the hands of users - thus generating income with it.
What can you do after taking this course?
WordPress is going to have an indirect impact on many industries including entertainment, healthcare, education and technology. While the focus of this course is currently on making plugins, the application of the skills you will learn extend and translate far beyond that, even in creating WordPress themes or make additions in the WordPress core. What will you do with that powerful knowledge and how will you contribute to the WordPress ecosystem is up to you and your imagination.
What are the prerequisites?
Throughout this series you will have to work with technologies like PHP, JavaScript, and MySql. It’s ideal to have basic knowledge of those technologies, although it’s not mandatory. As designers, I don’t expect you to have knowledge on working with server side technologies and databases. But basics of JavaScript will be handy and I assume you have the basic idea.
